About Us!
HOLY BONES are all natural, preservative-free dog biscuits. We started baking & packaging in September 2022 in the kitchens of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. We are a non-profit organization, committed to providing meaningful skills & employment for developmentally disabled adults in the area.

Meet Christopher! Christopher resides in Wayne, NJ and likes all animals and has had many pets. Chris is the primary caretaker for his French-bulldog Emmett. He loves working at Holy Bones and enjoys the company of his fellow workers and supervisors.

Meet Elizabeth! She has been working for Holy Bones for 6 months and specializes in making the Bag of Bits treats! She says "Holy Bones has given me a place to work and be a productive employee". Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys dancing, going to parties, and outings with friends. She also plays Special Olympics basketball, track and field, and golf!

Meet Maddie! Maddie has recently graduated from Lakeland regional high school where she participated in band and the annual school musical. Her hobbies include sewing and yoga - hoping to become a yoga instructor in the future. Her dog Macy, a mini poodle/dachshund mix, was too shy to get in the picture. Maddie really enjoys working at Holy Bones!

Meet Kim! "My name is Kim and I am one of the Holy Bones bakers at St. Mary's. My passion is baking, and I truly enjoy working with my friends at Holy Bones. I love animals and I have a Shih Tzu named Beau. Holy Bones has given me the opportunity that I have wanted for a long time. Making bones for the dogs has made it even better."

Meet Brittany! Brittany graduated from Bergen Vocational School where she studied how to maintain cats and dogs properly! Brittany's number one hobby is swimming and her number one sport is basketball!. She also likes to ride her bicycle and she loves to travel. Her favorite activity is painting, drawing, and ceramics!

Meet Andrew! Andrew is 27 years old and a life long resident of Wayne, New Jersey. He graduated Wayne Hills High School in 2014 and attended the 3 year Vocational Independence Program (VIP) at NYIT in Long Island, New York. Andrew is very adept in technology and enjoys building his own computers. He has been a member of the New Jersey Daredevil’s special hockey team since 2004 and is also a parishioner of St Mary’s Church. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys playing video games and hanging out with his friends and family. His favorite time of the week is spent at Holy Bones, baking and packing dog treats!

Founder & Advisor. Marie grew up in NJ and has been involved with the Special Needs Ministry at St. Mary's for over 35 years. She was a teacher of special needs children and a learning consultant for Paterson Public Schools for 38 years. Marie is widowed, has three children and 9 grandchildren.

Advisor. Patricia Carnevale, a NJ native, retired from working as a furniture salesperson. After moving to DE to help raise 2 granddaughters, she looked to volunteer. This is where she discovered WAGGIES, the prototype for HOLY BONES! Now operating for more than 15 years, Pat hopes that Holy Bones will be as successful. She now lives in Hawthorne and is a member of St Mary's Parish.
